Design details with the order
Turn on notes and photos for a listing. Customers add their message and up to three peg photos.
A downpayment before you start
Set Deposit / Down Payment pricing with a fixed amount. Customers upload a GCash or bank receipt before they place the order.
Good to know
You confirm every order. Nothing is automatic.
- Payments are manual: you review each receipt. Folivo doesn't charge cards or hold your money.
- No daily order limit and no baking-day schedule. You set a lead time in days, and can switch a listing to Out of Stock when you're full.
- Notes and photo uploads are off until you turn them on for each listing.
- A downpayment on a listing with several size options isn't supported yet: give each size its own listing.
- No chat on product orders and no courier booking. Folivo doesn't review food permits or licences.
Questions
Every cake is custom. Can I still post prices?
Post starting prices by size and flavor, and ask for the message and peg photo at checkout. If a design needs a different price, talk to the customer before you confirm: nothing is confirmed until you say so. For fully custom designs, a Request a quote listing lets customers leave their name, phone number and message, and you follow up by phone.
Do I have to stop taking orders in my messages?
No. Keep chatting, and send your link when someone asks for a price. Customers verify their mobile number with a code before ordering, which is one extra step, so try it with your next few orders.
How does the downpayment work?
Choose Deposit / Down Payment as the pricing model and enter a fixed amount. At checkout the customer sees what to pay now and the balance later, and uploads their receipt before placing the order. A made-to-order cake without a downpayment is paid in full at checkout.
What do I need before I can publish?
A verified mobile number, one active cake with a photo, a store name, the Bakery category, a GCash, Maya or bank account, your business address with a map pin, opening hours and a contact (a support email or your phone shown on the store). Choose Pickup only if you don't deliver.
Is it free?
Free to start, with no credit card and 0% Folivo commission. Customers pay you directly. Text messages to customers use a limited monthly allowance; when it runs out they aren't sent, and orders and tracking links keep working.
